Could you be a bit more specific Eva?  5G can be disaggregated into several components which can live on the same server or on separate servers.

How many concurrent sessions are you estimating?
Are you trying to run the 5GC, UPF,  CU and DU all on the same edge node?
Will there be any other workloads running on the edge node(s)?

The next OpenInfra PTG is approaching fast, the event will be held in a fully online format on October 17-21.

We already have an etherpad to collect discussion topics for the event: https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/ecg-ptg-october-2022

If you have further topics, please add them to the above etherpad, so we can include that in the planning. Please also add your name to your topic, so we know who to reach out to for further details.

An important detail, that we haven?t yet decided on, is how much time and what time slots we would like to grab at the event for edge related discussions. What would you all prefer?
