Excuse my lack of insight but does it mean that you are relying on Ubuntu pre-Jammy somewhere for testing the resulting images? And that your plan might actually be to upgrade to Jammy everywhere?
It's more that we're deploying many containers on Focal (and even Bionic) servers, so we need to also be able to test deploying on those platforms until such time as we've replaced those servers with newer ones.
