Hi Alan,

Thanks for raising this topic. I added the Edge mailing list to the recipients’ list so everyone is aware of the thread.

The next steps in the Edge Computing Group activities include deep diving in Keystone and Glance requirements and test scenarios. I will reach out to the teams and make sure they are aware of our discussions and see whether they can participate in the weekly meeting when it’s applicable.

There is a new wiki page[1] for the Edge Computing Group with a lot of pointers including the etherpad you linked. The plan is to start with a Summit recap on the next meeting next Tuesday and identify next steps.

On a follow up note, there are activities in the Scientific community around cloud federation which overlap with some of the Edge requirements as far as federation support in Keystone is considered which is a good area to collaborate with that group.

There are also plans to create a test environment for Edge use cases in the OPNFV Edge Cloud project where one of the starting points can be to test Keystone capabilities in a distributed environment in an automated fashion.

Please let me know if you have questions to any of the above.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Ildikó
