Hi Wesley,

Edge computing is a computing paradigm, which process data on the edge of
the network. Say, for example, video cameras generating video frame data,
instead of sending the video frames to the cloud for analysis, it can be
processed using a small form factor computer attached directly to the
camera. This computer is located on-premise where the camera is installed.

Content caching close to data consumption can also benefit from the edge
computing paradigm.

Expanding computing capabilities using mobile devices is also edge
computing.

IoT applications can leverages the edge computing paradigm.
