Hi,

Today we had great discussions with the group of people who joined. Our topics covered Automation and Trust & Verification at the Edge.

For the first topic we touched on the challenges of handling a heterogenous pool of hardware resources throughout edge locations, portability and reusability and the challenges of versioning.

The second topic also touched on hardware aspects through the heavy use of TPM in edge scenarios, but we were looking into other solutions as well. The session covered the challenges of deploying edge devices at remote locations considering full automation where the device doesn’t need human interaction as well as the cases where a technician interacts with the box.
